News

The two week Summer Play-scheme was a great success.  Depending upon which group they were in, children took part in a variety of activities, including Crazy Golf, 10-pin bowling, horse riding, and visits to Pets At Home, Garsons Farm and Kidspace.  Everyone participated in art and craft and swimming sessions, and all groups enjoyed a trip to Thames Valley Adventure Playground.  Fortunately, the weather was generally dry, apart from a couple of downpours.

All parents whose children attended the play-scheme will receive both a parent/carer and kids’ questionnaire.  PLEASE fill them in and return them to the interAKtive PO Box address by September 1st.  The feedback is important to us, helps us plan future play-schemes, and enables us to apply for funding.

Aiming High for Disabled Children, who part funded the two weeks, will also be issuing a questionnaire to parents, as will the University of Surrey, which is monitoring a number of specialist play-schemes.  Please try to find the time to fill them in and return them.  Your feedback will help us to secure future funding.
