Drumming for fun
Drumming workshops – run by Drum4Fun – have proved to be a great success, and the session leader has extensive experience of working with children on the autism spectrum.
The African Djembe drums make a great sound, and even children who are noise sensitive have happily joined in. It’s an enjoyable activity that the whole family can take part in, and teaches turn-taking and co-operating with a group. The only minus point is that you may get sore hands, but the fun is worth the discomfort.
