Ice Skating

The annual one hour ice-skating session is a joint venture with the Surrey branch of the National Autistic Society, and usually attracts somewhere in the region of 100-150 people. As the rink is Olympic size, there’s no danger of it getting overcrowded. A group of instructors is on the ice, to lend a hand to the novices, contribute to the fun, and ensure that skaters are safe. There are a number of ‘toys’ available, including penguins with handles, which provide stability to those children who haven’t yet found their feet on ice. Boots and helmets (for children) are also provided.
