Play-scheme
The first summer play-scheme – with just a few children attending – was run in 1999. Since then, it has established itself as a successful and popular event, and more than 60 children participated during the event’s 10th anniversary year (2009). On site, the children enjoy arts and crafts, playground parachute games, swimming, cake making, and a music and relaxation hour. Among the off-site sessions are: 10-pin bowling, soft-play, boat trips, ‘Companion Cycling’ and a fun athletics day.
